If so, you are warmly invited to join Marlene Winberg and Kapilolo Mahongo for an information rich and fun filled South African Sunday.

This will be a very special event- a journey exploring the origins of mankind and our shared heritage, with a visit to the San Rock art exhibition and a guided tour of the Origins Centre.

You will also share a personal journey through the power of storytelling by Kapilolo, in !Xung, translated by Marlene Winberg.

Savour some of the best South Africa has to offer in archaeology, enjoy rich evidence of the history of mankind and whet your appetite for storytelling, with a true master of the craft, for the week of Appreciative Inquiry to follow.

Details:

11:30pm - 1:00pm

We will meet at the the SophiaTown Residence and travel to the Origins Centre. We'll also share a simple 'brown bag' lunch together. (Lunch included in cost. When booking, please add/mention any special dietary requirements)

1:00pm - 2:30pm

Guided tour of understanding our past and ancestry, the meaning of authentic San Rock art and the Cradle of Humankind

2:30pm - 3:15pm

Tea break and an option to visit the book and gift shop

3:15pm - 5:00pm

R 400 per person
Cost includes the unique storytelling workshop, entrance fees, return bus fare on Rea Vaya from the University of Johannesburg Campus and a blanket to keep you warm. Blankets will be donated afterwards as part of Wits University student support fund.
